Wootag, a Singapore-based visual marketing SaaS company, has raised $1.7 million in funding

Wootag, a leading Singapore-based visual marketing SaaS firm that provides visual interaction and analytics for marketers, has acquired $1.7 million in bridge capital headed by Cornerstone Venture Partners Fund (CSVP), with current investors Wavemaker and SEEDS Capital joining in.

This funding will help Wootag scale in Asia Pacific markets and improve AI capabilities for in-video interaction and audience engagement, such as the company’s recent introduction of Creative Automation, which allows marketers to present product collections within films.

Wootag’s goal is to assist brands in identifying and using video or displays to better their branding experiences with their audience and convert visitors into buyers.

Over the last three years, Wootag has experienced incredible growth, and revenues have doubled, but profits have remained stable. Wootag has successfully serviced high-growth marketers in over 13 countries, assisting them in increasing consumer engagement by 350% or more. The current client base includes 250+ companies from 14 various verticals, including some of the world’s largest global corporations and marketing agencies.

By allowing brands and agencies to insert highly configurable and actionable ‘tags’ for viewers/consumers to interact with their visual content (including videos and static displays), the company is enabling companies and agencies to supercharge their visual content (including videos and static displays).
