The Moot Group (TMG), an eCommerce technology startup, has raised €5 million (approx. USD 6.9 million) in a seed funding round led by Fuel Ventures. The new funds will be used for the company’s next growth stage. 

We will continue to build on our own highly successful interior brands and support our third-party customers with bespoke E-commerce technology. We also have our sights on growing the business overseas too, so watch this space.

TMG’s end-to-end solutions are presently assisting next-generation e-commerce businesses in the UK in scaling their products and brands online. The firm makes money by collecting a tiny part of the income of its clients. Notably, the firm is on course to generate £100 million (approx. USD 138.5 million) in revenue by 2022, with a 1300 percent annual growth rate.

The firm plans to employ another 30 individuals in the next year to supplement its existing 50-strong team of technologists and e-commerce professionals at its offices in Staffordshire, London, and Glasgow. The company will also expand its operations into the United States this year, with ambitions to build more offices in Europe and the United Arab Emirates shortly after.
