“We were overwhelmed by the response we received after our beta launch last year. It was only then when we realized that the opportunity was substantially bigger than what we had originally anticipated, which emboldened us to double down and accelerate our expansion across the region,” commented Faisal Albaraiki, Founder and CEO at Slide.

Slide, established in 2021, handles all ecosystem partners necessary to process online purchases, such as point of sales, payment gateways, last-mile deliveries, and customer service, to provide a smooth experience across numerous social media. After introducing its beta version in December last year, the firm received much interest from companies across the area that wanted to sell through social networks to meet their business goals and provide a new seamless experience for their consumers. It has signed up several clients, all of whom are the region’s most prominent brands and category leaders. Slide has rapidly developed the team with experience from Uber, Food Panda, Munch On, Lendsqr, and Hunderstation. The Slide platform comprises micro APIs and a website that businesses can use to construct their social selling channels across many platforms, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, and Google, which can handle their orders fast and without any technical knowledge.
