Skit, an AI-first SaaS voice automation company helping enterprises automate their contact center operations, raised $23 million in a Series B funding round led by WestBridge Capital to fuel growth and product evolution, a press release from Skit said.
The Series A round for Skit came in May last year, where it netted $5.1 million. The close of this round takes the total amount raised by the company to about $30 million. Kalaari Capital and Exfinity Ventures, Angelist syndicate led by Aaryaman Vir Shah from Prophetic Ventures and Letsventure syndicate led by Sense AI, participated in the Series B funding.
Skit, founded in 2016, provides a suite of speech and language solutions that enable enterprises to automate their call center operations. Sourabh Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Skit, stated that the investment came at a time when Skit was making strategic inroads into the US and Southeast Asian markets and added,

Skit stated that it would use the proceeds from the funding to enhance its voice technology, develop personalized solutions while making strategic headway in global markets like the US. Sashi Reddi, venture advisor to Westbridge Capital, expressed delight at the investment and added,
