SecurEnds has raised $21M in a Series A funding round led by Elephant to scale its operations, expand into other geographies and triple its workforce
SecurEnds, a cloud-based identity governance company, has announced a $21 million in Series A funding led by Elephant, one of the largest Series A investments in Atlanta’s cybersecurity and tech startup ecosystem, the company stated in a press release.
SecurEnds, founded in 2017, provides a cloud-born Identity Governance platform with multiple modules and helps organizations save valuable time on implementation. It reduces audit costs. The proceeds from the fund would be used towards scaling operations and its product development and to expand geographically into untapped markets across Europe and Asia.
The company also intends to nearly triple its workforce and recruit for over 125 sales, marketing, and product engineering roles globally and across the US. As part of the transaction, Jeremiah Daly and Christopher De Souza, partners at Elephant, will join the Board of Directors.
Tippu Gagguturu, co-founder and CEO of SecurEnds, stated that the SecurEnds team had built an industry-first cloud-native and configurable Identity Governance platform that empowers organizations to secure identities against data breaches, meeting security and compliance needs.
The platform’s ease-of-use allows organizations to rapidly build identity-driven cyber risk and compliance programs. We’re thankful to Elephant for embracing our vision of democratizing Identity and Cloud Governance and look forward to working together as we continue to scaleippu Gagguturu, co-founder and CEO of SecurEnds,
