Satori raised $20M in Series A funding to fuel its research and development processes and accelerate go-to-market strategies and expansion in the US and accelerate the adoption of cloud data platforms with DataSecOps
Satori, a DataSecOps platform provider, raised $20 million in a Series A funding round co-led by B Capital Group and Evolution Equity Partners to accelerate the adoption of cloud data platforms with DataSecOps, a press release from Satori said.
The seed round for Satori came in 2019, where it netted $5.3 million. This Series A involved participation from its seed investor, YL Ventures. Founded in 2019, Satori’s DataSecOps platform helps democratize data scale cloud data analytics, embed security into data operations securely at the infrastructure level and removes friction for data consumers.
Satori’s solution does not require any changes to organizations’ data infrastructure or user setup. This empowers data teams to apply comprehensive controls across data stores quickly. Yoav Cohen, co-founder and CTO of Satori, stated that Satori was started because cloud infrastructure required a radical shift in security.
Having launched with multiple out-of-the-box integrations with the industry’s leading cloud data stores, such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, Amazon Aurora, and Azure SQL, we empower data teams to roll out self-service access, row- and column-level security, and dynamic de-identification across data stores in minutes.”
Satori said that it would use the proceeds from the funding to fuel its research and development processes and accelerate go-to-market strategies and expansion in the US.
Satori’s platform is the only serviceable to seamlessly integrate diverse data tech stacks and streamline data access and security without code and without changes to the underlying data storesEldad Chai, co-founder and CEO of Satori.
