SAP, a provider of enterprise application software for companies and industries, has announced its asset acquisition of SwoopTalent, a platform connecting companies’ talent systems and data for analytics, to boost talent data intelligence, a press release from SAP said.

SAP stated that embedding SwoopTalent’s data and machine learning technology across SAP SuccessFactors Solutions would further its vision of Human Experience Management (HXM) and help it prioritize employee experiences that improve organizational agility and business transformation.

SwoopTalent, founded in 2012, provides an AI-powered platform that combines and trains data from diverse HR systems and workflows. It offers talent data-as-a-service for enterprises. SAP stated that it would use SwoopTalent’s technology to strengthen its AI prowess and provide its customers with an update on its people’s skills, capabilities and interests. With the acquisition, several SwoopTalent employees would be joining the SAP SuccessFactors team.
