Salesforce to buy to power Slack bots

Salesforce decides to acquire, a firm that makes an integration tool for Salesforce’s Slack and Microsoft’s Teams communication platform.

Salesforce, a San Francisco-based provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software, expects to integrate technology into Slack once the deal is complete. The deal is expected to finalize by July 31, 2023, the conclusion of Salesforce’s second fiscal quarter.

According to the company’s listing on Salesforce’s AppExchange, Troops provides a platform for delivering revenue signals and actions from Salesforce to Slack and Microsoft Teams.
