SaaS firm devOcean secures $6 M in Seed Capital led by Glilot Capital Partners

devOcean, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based SaaS platform that allows security teams to see every risk in their cloud apps, has received $6 million in seed funding.

Glilot Capital Partners led the investment, which also included angel investors such as former Google CISO Gerhard Eschellbeck, Amazon’s Head of Security Audit Adam Hirsch, and Dome9 Security founder Zohar Alon. The funds will be used to extend the company’s operations and business reach.

DevOcean’s Cloud Native Security Operations platform, led by Doron Naim, CEO, and Gil Makmel, CTO, prioritises security issues and determines which team is responsible for resolving them.

The SaaS platform allows security teams to gather security insights from all cloud and security tools, resulting in a single “pane of glass” that shows each risk and its impact on every aspect of the cloud application.

Security teams can prioritise risks and work alongside operations, product, and development teams to effectively implement security policies, allowing CISOs to suggest which team is responsible for patching a vulnerability and fixing an issue, thanks to a better understanding of the most critical threats.
