Riversand, a provider of master data management solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Cloudinary, a Video Platform-as-a-Service platform, to assist its retail, distribution, and manufacturing businesses in providing their customers with better, more engaging products experiences.
Riversand’s industry-leading product information management (PIM) capabilities are combined with Cloudinary’s expertise in superior media experience management, including Digital Asset Management (DAM), in this alliance.
Riversand, a Syndigo firm based in Houston, is a pioneer in cloud-native Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) solutions. Cloudinary, situated in Santa Clara, California, manages billions of visual assets for over 8,000 businesses and one million users through its award-winning picture and video management products.

The alliance addresses two of the most significant difficulties that organizations face when expanding their product content: One, how to manage technical and descriptive product data across complex and often disconnected systems, such as measurements, ingredients, brand names, and product extensions; and two, how to manage and deliver creative and visually compelling rich media that supports the product or overall company brand across channels and at scale. Both of these issues have typically been handled by separate, independent systems, which has resulted in increased manual labor and coordination.
