Olo appoints David Cancel to the Board of Directors; James D. Robinson IV departs from the firm

Olo has appointed David Cancel, co-founder, and CEO of Drift, to its Board of Directors. Olo is a leading on-demand e-commerce platform fueling the restaurant industry’s digital revolution.

The company also revealed that James D. Robinson IV, the Founder and General Partner of RRE Ventures, an Olo investor, will be stepping down from its Board of Directors on March 25, 2022. Since March 2008, Mr. Robinson has been a member of Olo‘s Board of Directors.

Cancel is renowned for his ability to create hypergrowth products and product teams. Before co-creating Drift, he worked at HubSpot as the Chief Product Officer. He spent much of his 25-year career as a serial entrepreneur, founding startups such as Performable, Ghostery, and Compete.
