Mirantis launches Mirantis Flow to integrate numerous open-source technologies flexibly and package them as subscription services. It can also utilize existing computing hardware and includes Mirantis Container Cloud for providing deployment and lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters across different infrastructure platforms.
Mirantis, a company that helps organizations code faster on public and private clouds, recently launched Mirantis Flow, a cloud-native data center-as-a-service to modernize data center infrastructure with complete software, support and services package, a press release from Mirantis said.
Mirantis stated that the Mirantis Flow focuses on businesses that leverage costly, lock-in cloud infrastructure and would modernize virtualization and containerization for all applications. Additionally, it would simplify onboarding for companies that are in the infancy stage of their cloud journey.
Adrian Ionel, co-founder and CEO of Mirantis, stated that as more businesses pursue digital transformation, enterprise data centers face challenges in delivering authentic cloud experiences to their users while reducing costs. Noting that until now, cloud-native was sold and marketed as piece parts for enterprises, Adrian added,

Mirantis laid out the key advantages of Mirantis Flow, including replacing legacy infrastructure software with modern open-source, cloud-native software, reducing hardware by 50 percent and increased automation. Mirantis enunciated that Flow enables quick deployment and running of centrally managed, scalable cloud infrastructure and reduces cost and time-of-development while providing interoperability with public clouds and freeing up resources and investments that can be used to launch new services.
