Limelight Networks Inc., a provider of content delivery services, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Moov Corporation, which operates as Layer0. The deal was first announced in July of this year.
Layer0’s tools produce sub-second web apps and APIs through an all-in-one Jamstack platform, making this acquisition a big step forward in Limelight’s ambition as an edge-enabled SaaS solutions provider.

When the deal was first announced in July, Limelight Networks said in a press release that it would acquire Layer0 for $32.5 million in cash and $22.5 million in common stock.
Limelight also said that developers and clients could use the edge platform to preview content and install applications instantly without compromising security if the organizations worked together.
