Kiira Health, a healthcare technology firm, successfully raises $4 Million

Kiira Health, a healthcare technology company based in Los Angeles, recently announced the completion of a $4 million seed round of funding led by 500 Global and Forum VC, with participation from Serena Ventures, California Healthcare Foundation, and others.

Kiira is a technology-enabled healthcare provider that focuses on the needs of young multicultural women and empowers them to be more proactive about their health during their formative years. Kiira’s strategy includes a mobile app for 24/7 virtual care access, personalized data-driven insights, and culture-centered telehealth solutions for gynecology, primary care, and mental health.

Kiira Student Health, a virtual clinic product for colleges and universities, was released earlier this year. Kiira began working with colleges and universities across California and New York to provide its telemedicine solution amid the pandemic.

Kiira intends to use this new round of funding to expand its dynamic and diverse team and develop products that further the company’s goal of resolving the country’s existing women’s health issues.

“I truly wish I had a women’s health solution like Kiira when I was in college. We are setting ourselves apart by creating this unique opportunity to reach young women at the most pivotal stage of their lives,”

Crystal Adesanya, founder, and CEO of Kiira Health.
