Revenue delivery platform Paddle that helps B2B SaaS companies scale up has appointed Jimmy Fitzgerald as their President and Chief of Operations (COO), intending to supercharge their growth to amp up software businesses worldwide.
At Paddle, Fitzgerald shall sit on Paddle’s board, supervise their commercial operations. Starting with their expansion in the US, Fitzgerald, with his years of experience (global and regional) in the B2B software industry, will focus on magnifying their growth.
Jimmy Fitzgerald comes with over twenty years of experience in the technology industry. His previous experience was with ServiceNow, where he handled senior management roles, including the Senior Vice President of Customer Outcomes and Vice President and General Manager of the Asia Pacific and Japan. Leading the company’s Customer Outcomes, go-to-market, and other growth-related strategies, Fitzgerald is all set for his new role at Paddle. Before ServiceNow, he was the COO at Signal Demand (now acquired by PROS), a SaaS price optimization startup, where he had held senior leadership positions at customer relationship management.
Stating that it was the best time to join Paddle as they were entering a new phase of growth, Fitzgerald enunciated how software businesses, despite having great opportunities and excellent products, struggle to grow. “Paddle is solving this problem, and over 2000 customers leverage its revenue delivery platform as a critical growth lever,” he says.
Adding that it was Paddle’s exceptional ability to partner with SaaS leaders coupled with the global aspirations that had attracted him to them, Fitzgerald lauded the culture that co-founders Christian and Harrison have built.
CEO and founder of Paddle, Christian Owens, expressed delight to have Fitzgerald on board and stated that hiring him was a part of their critical ambitions for 2021. They were looking to expand their international presence and increase their share of the enterprise market.
