Courseplay, an employee growth enablement platform, has raised Rs 3 crore in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The funds raised will focus on customer acquisition and the release of new AI-powered capabilities.
Courseplay plans to expand its operations in India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Courseplay offers end-to-end solutions for training delivery, employee engagement, workflow automation, and impact measurement.
Courseplay, founded in 2016 by Arjun Gupta, collects data to provide growth recommendations to employers and their teams via its web application, chatbot, and mobile apps. By 2020, the startup had nearly 400,000 employees and offered them over 100,000 activities. Clients of the Mumbai-based startup include Amazon, SpiceJet, Emami, Swiggy, and others.

Gupta believes Courseplay is well-positioned to capitalize on this market’s explosive growth in the coming years. Given the region’s recent push for digital transformation, he expects the market to grow at a rate of 20 to 25 percent year on year for the next three years.
