Freight Tiger, a provider of SaaS-based digital freight network, raises $6.5M from Florintree Infra and others
Freight Tiger, a SaaS-based digital freight network provider, raised $6.5 million from Florintree Infra with participation from Aroa Ventures, the Family office fund of OYO Founder Ritesh Agarwal, reports state.
In July 2019, Freight Tiger raised ₹550 million ($7.4 million) in an unknown venture round from Lightspeed India Partners, who participated in this latest round alongside other existing investors – Moonstone Investments and Pawan Munjal Family Trust. Freight Tiger, founded in 2014, assists shippers, logistics service providers and transport companies to move fast, load more, reduce empty miles and waste using its SaaS-enabled digital freight platform.
Swapnil Shah, founder and CEO of Freight Tiger, stated that the company has witnessed rapid adoption of its software platform and digital freight network in the past 12 months and added,
“We today process close to 4 percent of India’s FTL volumes on our software platform. Our differentiated approach of software-led end-to-end digitization is bringing the ecosystem together and is making the $125 billion Indian freight market more seamless, collaborative, and transparent.”
Freight Tiger’s customers span companies like Saint Gobain, Dalmia Group, JSW Steel, BLR Logistiks, Patanjali, Kohler, and MRF, among others.
