Fin, a work insights platform, has announced that it has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Coatue. Other participants include First Round Capital, Accel, and Kleiner Perkins. Evan Cummack, a veteran of the business SaaS industry and a former Twilio leader, has joined Fin as chief executive officer.

​​Fin will use the new funds in sales, marketing, and R&D to speed its expansion into new markets. Fin has recently hired seasoned leaders from Twilio, LinkedIn, Coupa, Slack, and Google to help support this expansion.

Fin uses technology to assess important employee workflows and uncover more effective methods for operations teams to work with some of the world’s fastest-growing firms as customers.
