Fermyon launches its “build once, run anywhere” technology, WebAssembly

Fermyon Technologies successfully unveiled its compact open-source application platform to create WebAssembly microservices.

Fermyon Technologies, the company pioneering the next generation of cloud computing, successfully unveiled its compact open-source application platform to create WebAssembly microservices. WebAssembly is a “build once, run anywhere” technology that enables apps to run inside browsers and is now used to solve cloud problems in which speed and protection are critical.

Fermyon unifies the packaging, compilation, version control, deployment, and management of WebAssembly apps and microservices; all managed through a powerful developer interface.

“Fermyon brings the ease of a developer self-service Platform-as-a-Service to the burgeoning WebAssembly ecosystem. We are passionate about pioneering this next wave of cloud computing alongside the container and virtual machine technologies already in use today,”

Matt Butcher, co-founder, and CEO of Fermyon.

Fermyon is committed to enabling cloud devs to quickly realize the stuff they envision developing and concentrate on the code that adds value rather than the necessary base code.
