Duda, a professional web development platform for SaaS enterprises and digital agencies, has acquired Snipcart. Duda intends to put a lot of money into expanding the team and improving the basic Snipcart platform’s capabilities and features.


Duda, a professional web building platform for SaaS companies and digital agencies, has announced that it has acquired Snipcart, an e-commerce solution for businesses that enables shopping carts to any website. 

With the addition of Snipcart, Duda’s customers will have access to a highly flexible e-commerce solution that can make any data or inventory they have shoppable, as well as the tools needed to sell physical or digital products easily, add shopping carts, accept one-time payments, or on-going subscriptions, all while providing a seamless and beautifully designed online buying experience.

Along with Snipcart, Duda will continue to offer its existing e-commerce product. The existing e-commerce solution, which many of Duda’s customers utilize to add online purchase experiences, will remain in place for clients who choose to continue using it. Duda will also continue to support it and develop its capabilities.

With this exciting step, we intend to strengthen Duda’s presence within the marketplace and focus on providing a robust e-commerce solution, we believe that in Snipcart, we found an innovative and flexible platform and a super passionate team that we are excited to welcome into the Duda family.

Existing Snipcart customers will also benefit from the acquisition. Duda intends to invest extensively in expanding the team and expanding the primary Snipcart platform’s capabilities and features. Customers will continue to be able to purchase Snipcart’s product separately.

The global epidemic has altered people’s purchasing habits, with the e-commerce business expected to rise by 50% to $6.3 trillion by 2024. Duda has already experienced a 265 percent increase in e-commerce sites developed on its platform year over year, prompting the business to acquire to accelerate its growth in this area. The integration between Duda and Snipcart has already begun, and it is planned to be released in early 2022.
