Brella, a hybrid event platform, has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by Connected Capital. The platform, previously utilized as an offline networking tool, shifted from live events to a virtual event platform once the pandemic struck.

As the world opens up post-COVID, Markus Kauppinen, CEO and creator of Brella, stated the firm is heading toward “immersive hybrid events that incorporate both live and virtual components.”

Unlike many of our competitors, Brella is squarely focused on capturing the essence of live business events and translating them into an intuitive digital format.
