We had initially reported that Bored Ape restaurant had stopped taking crypto payments, Andy Nguyen, commented on our LinkedIn post to clarify the same.

The restaurant was started in April and is located in Long Beach, California. This NFT-themed restaurant by Andy Nguyen initially started to show the branding potential of BAYC and NFTs. It was one of the first restaurants to accept ETH and Apecoin. The volatility of the crypto markets has forced the restaurant to stop taking crypto as payment.

Other restaurants like Chipotle, Brooklyn Torch, and Hudson Eatery still accept cryptocurrency as their mode of payment.
