Baxter’s DoseEdge Pharmacy Workflow Manager, an innovative software solution that eliminates unnecessary medication mistakes from dosage preparation in the pharmacy through delivery at the patient’s bedside, also benefits from the cloud transformation.
DoseEdge interfaces seamlessly with a hospital’s pharmacy information system to automate the routing, preparation, inspection, tracking, and reporting of IV and oral liquid doses. Although the technology is currently in use in more than 500 hospitals throughout the United States, Baxter’s cloud transformation allows for faster growth into new markets while maintaining local data protection and privacy requirements.
Apart from this, Baxter also benefits from cloud technology concerning supply chain resilience and employee digital training.
