Alithya bags project management contract worth C$ 12.4 million with Québec government

Alithya Group Inc., a management consulting firm, has announced that it has been awarded a C$12.4 million information resources project management contract with a Québec government ministry.

Alithya’s specialists will give their expertise and assistance to the client as part of this five-year contract. Their teams will have the reaction capability to completely carry out their critical tasks in managing information resources initiatives.

Dave Moreau, senior vice president of Public Sector, Quebec, said, “We are pleased to have won this contract. It shows that the wide variety of projects we have managed over the years made us highly adaptable and knowledgeable about the government sector. As a result, we have developed a customized approach based on best practices and the evolution of project management tools. Regardless of the direction government agencies are taking, Alithya knows how to align the management strategy with the project’s objectives to further tangible initiatives.”

The firm trades under the name ALYA on Nasdaq. Its shares traded higher by 19.23% at $2.48 while closing on Tuesday (June 1).
