SaaS infrastructure, unlike many on-premise systems, has benefited from the work-from-home lifestyle. SaaS solutions, which help maintain tight connections, have recently found themselves in a unique position to assist remote personnel.

Whatever the economic scenario, the business will continue to evolve, and the relevance of cloud-based SaaS will only increase. Enterprises spent more than $30 billion on cloud infrastructure in the fourth quarter of 2019, a 30 percent increase year over year that shows no signs of stopping. SaaS businesses are one of the biggest drivers of that consumption.

SaaS infrastructure effectively assists remote teams in collaborating and communicating in ways that may be even better than pre-crisis periods when everyone was still going to work every day. And, as businesses continue to digitize processes and flexible work arrangements grow more popular, SaaS will be around for a long time.
